Reflecting 2010. Planning 2011.

2010 was a busy year.  I performed in the west coast premiere of Wajdi Mouawad’s award-winning play Scorched.  I performed, toured and helped develop another solo show The Big Oops.  I resurrected my other solo show Bye Bye Bombay during the Olympics and for the first ever Hollywood Fringe.   I interviewed celebrities for eTalk at the Banff World Television and nextMedia Festival.  I covered the Vancouver and Whistler Film Festivals, Leo Awards and whole slew of other cultural events for Novus TV.  I’ve also been honored to part of the amazing cast of White Collar Poet, a web-series that is still being shot.

Happy New Year! Have fun...but be more responsible than the Silly Stickmen

So now I’m thinking 2011.  What’s next?  I don’t have a one woman show in development or touring for the first time in six years.  It feels….wonderful and scary.  I’ve been full of inspiration and ideas for other film, web and television projects for years.  I haven’t however had the time to devote fully to their development.  Now is the time.  There’s nothing like  a new year to keep remind yourself of the goals that you’ve set out for yourself, met and failed to achieve.  2011 here I come.
