PuShing off in style
The PuSh International Performing Arts Festival opened in style at Club Five Sixty.
Veda Hille and the Vancouver Complaints Choir were a highlight of the evening. The choir sang a song of Complaints. All lyrics to this song were drawn from the citizens of Vancouver. Apparently Canadians complain about money a lot.
Another highlight of the evening was the dress rehearsal of La Marea.
A trolley shuttled people down to Gastown to experience these beautiful and sometimes disturbing performances.
The finale of the evening was a performance by the Vancouver band The Zolas. They were a real treat and so is this video:
