PuShing off in style

The PuSh International Performing Arts Festival opened in style at Club Five Sixty.
Veda Hille and the Vancouver Complaints Choir were a highlight of the evening. The choir sang a song of Complaints.  All lyrics to this song were drawn from the citizens of Vancouver. Apparently Canadians complain about money a lot.

Another highlight of the evening was the dress rehearsal of La Marea.A trolley shuttled people down to Gastown to experience these beautiful and sometimes disturbing performances.

The finale of the evening was a performance by the Vancouver band The Zolas.  They were a real treat and so is this video:
