In The Solitude Of Cotton Fields

In the Solitude of Cotton Fields is a rock concert fused with the words of French playwright Bernard-Marie Koltès.  Wild images, raw performances and uninhibited sound make this show a truly unique experience.  The group is from Poland and there are two things I learned about them last night, they’re fearless performers and they like to drink.

In the Solitude of Cotton Fields runs until this Saturday at the PuSh Festival.  The band, the Natural Born Chillers will be playing after the last show, defiantly worth checking out.

Here’s a taste of the show:

  1. I was disappointed that so much of the text was deconstructed and secondary to the rock and roll. The band was great, but there’s beautiful, dramtic conflict in the text that was completely lost in this production.
